Brazilian Red-crested Cardinal with Snack, Hanalei Pier, Kauai, Hawaii (DSC01510). According to Wikipedia, this species is found mainly in Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul and elsewhere in South America, and has been introduced into Hawaii. It is not related to true cardinals.
